Once upon a time an artist in England met a photographer from America. They fell in love, got married, and created Red Coat Studio. That artist is James, and his photographer wife is Tamara.

Thanks for visiting our shop! We live the UK and create art. We are the indie business owners of Red Coat Studio. Which features our art, and photography. We run an art and photography blog, and are fun on Facebook and Twitter.

Here's a little more detail about our start and present experience as Red Coat Studio on Etsy. (Please read our shop's policies for information on shipping, customs, and returns.)

We had success in spreading our artwork around locally in exhibitions, magazines, and private collections, but wanted to branch to a larger market. After establishing an ever growing blog, we discovered the power of an online presence and decided to start selling our artwork online.

We opened our Etsy doors April 2012 and have been really happy with sales and lovely feedback from our new friends. We are so grateful to have such pleasant buyers. We are now featured in homes and offices all over North America and Europe.

When you buy from us, you are buying more than our art. You are buying our creativity, our imagination, our perception. We strive to share those gifts with you. Your support means the world to us and allows us to keep creating.
